Brownies are generally among the easiest cakes to make, and ours is no exception. All you need is one large bowl, a few ingredients, and an immersion blender.
And what is this brownie actually made of?
First of all, we have to say that our brownie is vegan and gluten-free. Its base is made of red beans, flax seeds,almonds and dark chocolate. In addition, it also contains coconut oil , cane sugar and cocoa.
And how can you prepare it at home?

What will you need?
- 240g cooked red beans (you can also use canned, just rinse them thoroughly under cold running water)
- 4 tablespoons ground flaxseeds, poured with 9 tablespoons boiling water
- 1 cup almonds, ground into flour
- 50g cocoa
- 180g cane sugar
- Half a cup of melted coconut oil (you can also replace it with classic sunflower oil)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 100g of good quality dark chocolate
- A handful of chopped almonds
How to proceed?
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Place red beans, soaked flax seeds, ground almonds, cocoa, coconut oil in a bowl and blend with an immersion blender until smooth.
- Add chopped dark chocolate, chopped almonds, and baking powder to the paste and mix well, but do not overmix.
- Place baking paper in a baking pan (we used a round 21cm pan) and pour the dough into it, which you can smooth out with a damp spoon.
- Sprinkle the brownies with chopped almonds and place in the oven.
- Bake for 50 minutes.
