100% cashew butter made from high-quality cashew nuts from Africa. We primarily use cashews from Togo or Tanzania. And why these countries? Yes, we have tried different types of cashew nuts, from countries like Vietnam or India. But we always came back to the African ones. The reason is not only their delicate buttery taste but also their consistency after grinding. Most available cashew spreads need to be supplemented with various other fats during production, because the consistency is often very solid. We have found that by combining high-quality fresh African cashew nuts with a precise roasting recipe, we achieve a beautiful, delicate consistency even without adding other ingredients. Our cashew butter can therefore be called "one hundred percent". That is why we do not let African cashews go to waste.
We buy cashew nuts from the supplier in their natural raw state, i.e. unroasted and unsalted. We roast them according to our own recipe, without using fat, only with a stream of hot air. This process is very important in the production of cashew nut butter. Even a few seconds less or more can change the consistency and taste of the cashew spread. Then the nuts need to be left to cool completely, for several hours, and only then they can be ground. If they were ground earlier, the resulting consistency would not be what we want.
Thanks to this complex process, our cashew butter contains no fat, salt, sugar, gluten, or preservatives.
100% cashews are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. We recommend storing them in a dark and dry place, but not in the refrigerator. The shelf life is 12 months from production and after opening we recommend consuming within 60 days.

Did you know?
- Cashew nuts are one of the few nuts that grow outside their shell. In essence, you could say that they are more like seeds than nuts. This shell is called a "cashew apple" (although it looks more like a pear) and the cashew nut grows from its lower half. Only one nut grows from one fruit. There is also another shell on the nut itself, and this must be removed, as it is poisonous.
- Although some cashews are sold under the RAW label, in reality no cashews are completely raw. Because of their skin, they must be treated with hot steam before being sold. This ensures that the skin is removed and the cashew nut becomes edible.
