Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
- a pinch of chili
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 200g pecan nuts
- 1 orange
Procedure:
Preheat oven to 160°C. Mix all dry ingredients in a small bowl. In a larger bowl, mix melted coconut oil and maple syrup.
Spread the pecans on a baking sheet and place in the preheated oven for 7 minutes. Then place them in a bowl with the coconut oil and maple syrup and mix well. Add the dry ingredients and mix again to coat the nuts evenly.
Spread such nuts again on baking paper and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
Peel the orange peel into thin spiral slices and when the nuts are done, mix them with the peel and let cool completely.
Finally, just remove the orange peel and serve.
