Peanuts

Peanuts, also known as groundnuts, are often classified as nuts, but they are actually legumes. Regardless, they are an excellent source of unsaturated fatty acids, which help prevent cardiovascular disease, and they also contain magnesium and fiber, which reduce the risk of diabetes. Peanuts are high in protein and are therefore very popular among athletes, especially in the form of peanut butter, which is excellent for preparing meals, as a supplement before and after training, or as a healthy form of breakfast or dinner. In addition, they contain zinc, iron, folic acid, vitamin E and also the natural antioxidant reservatrol, which is considered an effective fighter against cancer.

Almonds

Almonds are considered one of the most nutritious nuts ever. They are a rich source of calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and vitamin E. They also contain selenium, copper, zinc, and niacin. They are also packed with protein and healthy fats. All of this ensures that almonds have countless benefits for human health. Let's mention at least a few: they reduce LDL cholesterol, thanks to an excellent combination of vitamins and minerals, they increase the resistance and strength of bones and teeth, they contain monounsaturated fatty acids, which contribute to a healthy heart, they are beneficial for the brain, they have anti-inflammatory effects thanks to the content of linoleic and linolenic acid, they strengthen the immune system, hydrate the skin, reduce the risk of diabetes and colon cancer, and even regulate blood pressure thanks to the potassium and sodium they contain. And what's the best thing about them? That the butter from them tastes incredibly good!

Cashew

Cashews are an excellent source of iron, which helps with anemia. They also contain a number of elements beneficial to health, such as phosphorus, magnesium, copper, zinc, and vitamin B. Cashews have several positive effects on health, primarily helping to reduce "bad" LDL cholesterol, while on the contrary, they contribute to increasing "good" HDL cholesterol. They are also high in healthy unsaturated fats, which, despite being "fats", contribute to weight loss. They are very suitable for proper brain function and even protect against headaches. Thanks to essential fatty acids, they reduce the risk of diabetes and promote skin hydration. They are especially suitable for athletes as a source of instant energy. Walnuts

Walnuts are the undisputed kings among nuts, especially in our latitudes. Our nuts come directly from Slovakia, which makes us even more proud of them. This superfood has countless beneficial effects on health, to name a few – prevention of diabetes, osteoporosis, atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases. Walnuts support the formation of red blood cells, digestion, contribute to lowering cholesterol, protect muscles and improve the quality of nails, skin and hair. Their appearance resembles the human brain and it is probably no coincidence, because walnuts are considered one of the best natural foods supporting brain activity, memory and attention. Just a few spoons of walnut butter a day are enough and you will notice the effects on yourself. Paradoxically, despite their relatively high calorie content, they are a very suitable supplement for diets and support the burning of body fat. In addition to healthy unsaturated fatty acids, walnuts also contain a relatively high amount of protein, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, E, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, iron, and manganese. As we said, it's a superfood.

Pistachios

Pistachios, or pistachio nuts, are different from most nuts at first glance. Their green-purple-gray color will ensure that you will not confuse them with other nuts. And even if you do, you will immediately find out that they are pistachios after tasting them. They are characterized by their naturally saltier taste, which is why their butter is also suitable as a substitute for unhealthy snacks in front of the TV.
Pistachios not only taste great, but they also support immunity, reduce high blood pressure and high cholesterol, detoxify the body and, most importantly, they reduce stress and have antidepressant effects. So if your boss has just called you, just run to the cupboard to grab our pistachio butter and everything will be fine in a few minutes.
They also contain an infinite amount of vitamins (A, B1, B2, B2, B6, C, E, K, ...) and minerals (calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium, iron, etc.) and are a very suitable supplement to diets.

Hazelnuts

Hazelnuts are one of the most widespread nuts in Slovakia and should definitely be included in your diet. Hazelnuts are characterized by a high content of healthy fats, which support the optimal functioning of the cardiovascular system. They also help reduce cholesterol. The magnesium content helps relieve cramps and muscle fatigue after sports, or headaches. Hazelnuts also contain vitamins A, D, B6, calcium, iron, and phytochemicals. These are what strengthen the body's defenses.

Macadamia nuts

Macadamia nuts are considered one of the most exclusive nuts, both because of the difficulty of growing them, and above all because of their processing. Despite this, according to some studies, they are the healthiest nuts ever. They contain a high proportion of health-promoting monounsaturated fats, which, among other things, reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Macadamia nuts have a positive effect on the strength of bones, joints and teeth, support the immune system, digestion and even help in the treatment of skin diseases. This is also the reason why these nuts have found their permanent place not only in the food industry, but also in the cosmetics industry, where high-quality macadamia oil is produced from them. It is used in the treatment of scars, stretch marks and also helps restore damaged cells.

Pecan nuts

Pecans could easily be called a kind of sibling of our walnuts. They have a sweeter taste. They are rich in antioxidants, support the immune system, and thanks to their high zinc content, they are often used in the treatment of colds. Like other nuts, pecans are a great fighter against cancer and neurological diseases, they lower cholesterol, and in addition, pecans protect against gallstones, support digestion and hair growth.
Pecans contain vitamin E, B vitamins, provitamin A, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, iron and potassium.

Pine nuts

Pine nuts are essentially seeds, specifically from the Scots pine tree. Ours come from the Russian taiga and are a source of several useful vitamins and minerals. The vitamins include mainly vitamin A, vitamins in the B, C, E and K groups, as well as beta-carotene. The minerals include iron, copper, zinc, calcium, potassium and magnesium. Pine nuts are very good for supporting the proper functioning of the heart, maintaining healthy bones, supporting immunity and healthy skin and hair.

Brazil nuts

Brazil nuts are rich in healthy fats, including omega 3 fatty acids, which help reduce bad cholesterol and help the cardiovascular system function properly. Among nuts, they are especially known for their high selenium content. They also contain phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, zinc, calcium, iron, potassium, and sodium. They support the functioning of the thyroid gland and have even been shown to have a positive effect on mood and overall mental health. Men will certainly be pleased that they increase testosterone levels and help with muscle growth.
